Meet Our Scholarship Recipients: From Cambodia to China

What does it mean to receive a scholarship to study at one of China’s leading universities? What are their expectations, aspirations, and goals for their journey ahead?

In this interview, we speak with Cambodian scholarship recipients who are just starting their academic journey at Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) for the 2026 academic year.

Meet Mr. Khoan Pengleap

“Studying in China has been one of my goals since my undergraduate years. I chose International Business because China is a major global business hub, offering valuable experiences and case studies that I can learn from and apply to contribute to my country’s development.“

Meet Ms. Kheng Moniroth

“After completing my studies in China, I hope to work in Cambodia’s entrepreneurship sector, apply the knowledge and experience I gain, and contribute to the country’s development. I also aspire to start my own business in the future.“

“From the interview stage with the Youth House until I received my Admission Notice from the university, the Youth House played an important role in guiding me, providing feedback, and coordinating my scholarship application with the university, as well as supporting other candidates throughout the application process.”
